Samuel Floyd

"Without exception, the NYMF cast is super-duper.  Samuel Floyd is up to the tough task of making Liberace real, despite the love of the glitz and bling and Floyd flits flamboyantly in furs and finery without discarding what he shows from the start as a music-loving, sweet soul.  He goes from wide-eyed, grateful-to-play-the-piano-for-you boy to gleeful superstar to slightly embittered older legend quite believably."

"Uncanny."

"Mr. Floyd captures Lee’s laugh and movements and had us feeling for him."

Ben, Virginia and Me (NYMF)

"Samuel Floyd is impeccable as the pompous but foolish would-be king Lord Farquaad. He imbues this diminutive tyrant with a flamboyant personality befitting his ego, enhancing the humor with an amazingly powerful voice that springs from the royally clad homunculus."

Barter Theatre

"Samuel Floyd, a rip-roaring song-and-dance man, plays the cheery chimney sweep Bert. Floyd, in hoofer mode, leads the revels in “Step in Time” and draws gasps from the audience, thanks to a little help from a flying harness, as he marches up the side of the proscenium and then strolls upside down, 24 feet in the air."

"Greenville Little Theatre’s “Les Miserables” is jaw-droppingly terrific, a thrilling production of polished professionalism from beginning to end…Samuel Floyd, the production’s only guest actor, brings fervor, sensitivity and a warm tenor timbre to his Broadway-quality Marius."
